Thanks, I really want to listen to 'Live at the Donmar' now and I can't find my copy of the CD. |

Haha, Valjean, I'll be watching you!
I find his vibrato a little bit annoying though |

Do you have any idea how much better that made me feel? I love Quast a lot and I think his Javert was top-notch... I think the tight vibrato and flinty tone are very well-suited to Javert. But I don't love it in other things! Like South Pacific, I don't love his Emile. And this. But this... the nature of the song when connected to Les Mis is so amusing that I can't help but laugh. |

I'm a fan of Quast but I'd have thought he'd have made a better job of that - I'd have expected him to be slower and more menacing. | ||

Mmmm I agree. It would have been better sung at the same tempo as the original, but still I don't think he did a bad job at all. |

I could be bigger... my eyes are falling out. When I first heard that song, I lol'd. So fitting for him. |
